What’s the role?
We are looking for a Principal Engineering Leader to be a player/coach in our BuildX team. This role means guiding our Associate and Senior Engineers' professional development and getting your hands dirty as needed while expertly leading delivery for our customers.
What a typical day involves:
- Help associates ship their first line of code with high quality.
- Review contributors' pull requests to merge changes into the code repository.
- Craft initial technical designs to provide a foundation to iterate.
- Contribute code to external Open Source software projects
- Ensure that team velocity aligns with client commitments.
- Develop and ship internal RAVL products.
- Grab the keyboard and dig into the problem space.
- Additional needs could pop up as we iterate together.

- In English, you apply strong analytical skills to complex technical challenges and advocate and mentor our associates no matter where they work.
- Your understanding of one or more of Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP and cloud computing are advanced.
- You are comfortable both writing and reviewing code across multiple languages.
- Empathy is something that comes naturally to you.
- You are proficient with a broad spectrum of native, vendor, and Open Source technologies.
- You are experienced and passionate about making your talents accessible to others.
